John E. Truitt, D.D.S.

Dr. Truitt was born in Norfolk, Virginia and grew up in Virginia Beach. John and his wife, who is a Richmond native, have one child.

Dr. Truitt obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1999. In 2003, John earned his DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Truitt was highly recruited but chose to continue his education at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. In 2008, he completed his four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Truitt practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has special interests in dental alveolar surgery, providing general anesthesia, and dental implants.
